Manhattan moms - I am due in August and thinking about buying a bugaboo. Would I get this instead of a Graco snugride travel system? If you have a bugaboo, did you use it on a newborn? Should I just start with the Graco and then decide once the baby outgrows it? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Seriously, we had an Inglesina Zippy and were able to easily use the Snugride in it until ds was old enough for a stroller. It was much cheaper and very sturdy. Got a lot of mileage out of it. [ Reply | More ]

i'm with previous poster, just get a carseat/frame thing until dc is 5 mos or so, then move to a lighter foldable stroller (zippy, mac triumph, etc). i dont have a bugabaoo so can't speak from experience with that, but they are pricey and so bulky [ Reply | More ]

I loved my Bugaboo but now I'm a second time mom I've got over the stroller frenzy and I'd choose something cheaper that does the same thing! The posters above have given good advice. [ Reply | More ]

I find the Bugaboos and the like too cumbersome, especially when needing to use a cab, etc. I found the snap and go to be best and then switched to a Mac Quest. [ Reply | More ]

OP: Thanks. Is the carseat/frame option good for walking around the city at the beginning? [ Reply | More ]
