I have two 6yos who will sit at the table quietly and eat or color with crayons and a book. When they were 3yo it was much dicier to see whether they would sit or be antsy [ Reply | More ]

4 y/o does, but we usually go early and bring one or two small, quiet toys to keep her occupied. [ Reply | More ]

my 4yo & 2yo will last about 45 mins, really well behaved. Goes downhill very shortly after that, mostly because of the 2yo. 4yo can last longer. [ Reply | More ]

My 5 yo is terrific at restaurants. My younger ds, who turns age 3 next week, is another story. 1 out of 5 times he will sit for about 45 minutes if he's hungry enough (but not too hungry) and the food comes quickly. so we don't really go out to each much anymore. not worth the hassle. I'm hoping it improves in the next year. [ Reply | More ]

My 6-y-o and 3-y-o behave well enough to eat at nice-ish restaurants. 6-y-o hasn't always been like this (used to be hard for him to wait), but 3-y-o has no problem (that's her personality -- plus I think she likes the time with us). [ Reply | More ]
