depends on where you live and the quality of daycare that is available. I went with daycare and I live in NYC. I didn't feel safe leaving my small baby alone with someone that I didn't really know all day and daycare here is regulated by the city and state. [ Reply | More ]

It depends on your needs and your preferences. If you have a very regular schedule and like having adults supervising other adults (and don't want to deal with tax problems/legality issues), good day care is a great option. If you need someone who can come in early or stay late and want them to have one-on-one responsibilty for only your DCs, then hire a nanny. [ Reply | More ]
