Op: she slept in sling today, but at night, it is impossible. now it seems she wont even settle on someone. she is in her own bassinet with me in lr so dh can get some sleep in master to be up to take care of ds [ Reply | More ]

put db in bassinet in bedroom. also, and I am not a product sort of person, but our 2nd db had a lot of congestion, so we got this slanted sleep positioner thing that was great. i think it was a snuggle nest maybe? we got one with an incline. people will tell you here that you need a miracle blanket but that never worked for my kids [ Reply | More ]

op: have been thinking the incline thing may be the way to go. going to get one tomorrow! she escapes her swaddle no matter how tight we make it, yet her arms stimulate her, so i think a miracle blanket may be needed too! [ Reply | More ]

my 2nd dc used a pacifier which helped too. my first, not so much. the positioner may help with the arms too [ Reply | More ]

Try keeping db in a dark and quiet room (torture for you, I know) as much as possible. For feedings, rocking, changing, etc. Cut down on stimulation. [ Reply | More ]

op: yes, trying this. tonight was in master with blackout shades to feed before bassinet, no dice. 5 min after she seems to be dead asleep, she has escaped her swaddle and is up rooting! [ Reply | More ]

I have no advice for you but my twins were like that and I have to say they're still hard to keep happy four years later. Sorry. it's so hard. [ Reply | More ]
