do you think it would be a good idea to look at an art school around here for a college student to come a couple hours one or two days a week for art lessons? my four year old and 6 year old really want some sort of art class, but i don't really want to send them out to a teacher just yet. any suggestions where to look? what schools? any ideas? yeah, i would definitely suggest getting in touch with some of the resources in the city, we have atleast three notable art schools here - i live right across the street from parsons and have been thinking of getting a parsons student to come do some art projects with my ten year old son [ Reply | More ]

^^ as an artist, I think this is kind of weird--something some rich person would do. Let your kids create with other kids around! [ Reply | More ]

i prefer to wait until they are a little bit older, i would rather save some of the money and bring in a student to the house and see if the kids are serious about it before we get too dedicated to another new activity [ Reply | More ]
