So if, say, 20 of 40 spots are taken by siblings in a G&T program, how do they choose between 35 99ers vying for the 20 spots that are left? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

reportedly it was a lottery. all the 99s in a hat, and if your number comes up early, you get your 1st choice. [ Reply | More ]

Okay, and then otherwise you get your second? So, a 99er can't get shut out of all their choices? [ Reply | More ]

depends on how many schools they listed. If your 1st choice was full when your number came up, then they look at your 2nd, etc. a 99 could conceivably be shut out if they ranked too few schools. [ Reply | More ]
