I feel sick every night the A/C (window unit) is on. Kind of like I have allergies, but I never have: congested, sneezy, headache. Anyone BTDT? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Ours can be popped out and washed. I don't think they are standard (DH went crazy trying to replace on that got really nasty). [ Reply | More ]

Oh yes...that is how my sinus infection started two years ago. It came from the dirty filters in the air conditioning on my job. They sit there during the winter and spring seasons building up dirt and mold and then suddenly they're turned on in the summer and all of that crap comes out into the air and we breathe it in. Several of us got sick. If your AC is at home, change the filters. If it is at work, insist that maintenance change the filters immediately -- which is what we did. [ Reply | More ]
