How long would you let a 2 week old breastfed baby sleep before waking her up to feed? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

op: i've been waking mine at night to eat. she had lost weight the first week (too much weight and we supplemented) but now she seems fine. i think she'd sleep for 7 hours if i let her. i'm not complaining, but all the books, the ped, etc. say to wake them to eat. my mother told me that's crazy and my instinct kind of does too. I woke mine every 3 hours until 7 pm. She slept through the night by 10 weeks (12 hours). [ Reply | More ]
