last night i went to dinner with a friend. before i left dh and i discussed his parents picking up ds for the weekend. we decided that by the time they got here and back to their home it would be close to 11...too late for a 2yo. after dinner i called to make sure everyone was ok and he tells me that ILs were there taking ds. i am livid! At least your IL will have to deal with the cranky 2yo. I'd be angry too. [ Reply | More ]

Your ds fell back asleep, I'm sure. I'd focus on the fact that your ILs took him for the weekend instead of being so uptight. [ Reply | More ]

np. Dh would have to give me a good reason why the plans had changed and if it was just that it was what the IL wanted I wouldn't be happy. [ Reply | More ]

seriously, and if you aren't going to be there you have to respect that DH has the right to make these small decsions without consulting you. [ Reply | More ]

Of course not, but did you want him to call you and interrupt your dinner over this? It's a relatively little thing. He's a grown up, and can make decisions without consulting you. [ Reply | More ]
