What do I really need after the baby is born? I don't want a bunch of clutter from the baby shower, but want to get the necessities. I have already been given a car seat, stroller, bouncer, high chair, baby jogger and a ton of little boy clothes! What should I register for? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Lots of bibs-terry cloth bibs. Swaddling blankets; one piece pjs with feet and the things on the sleeves that flip over the hands so db can't scratch his face; forget undershirts and go for the short sleeve body suits; we use Aquafor for the tushy (it doesn't smell medicinal); Purell to keep around the house for when visitors come; ; Little Tummies (we found this to be better than Mylicon); if you're breast feeding, you need Lansinoh, nipple pads (the ones by Medela don't make your breasts look too lumpy), nursing bras or tanks, etc. you may want to register for a bottle warmer. Good luck! [ Reply | More ]
