I can imagine instances where I don't want to hear from anyone (so I would just not answer the phone). I don't have a sister, but I was glad when my brother called. Same with friends. PLEASE no calls from SILs (one actually compared it to waiting for her dog's xrays when she found out we were waiting on bloodwork to confirm my miscarriage). [ Reply | More

She can always screen her calls if she doesn't feel like talking. I'd just suggest you not compare it to your own miscarriage - people feel all different ways, so we can't assume she's handling the way you did. [ Reply | More

actually, i lied. i only miscarried six weeks ago and i'm still on medical orders not to ttc. (i didn't want to out myself so i made up the year ago part). my sil and i were due at about the same time. [ Reply | More
