So sad. I live in Dist 1. We really need ds to get into nest. He only got a 98. we only have one okay Dis g&T but the school is hit hard by cuts, new admin, and its only one class in a so so school. If he doesn't get nest we will have to move. so not fair he scored higher then we thought, I mean he got a 98 he should get a seat at nest. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

the site is not letting me respond to you above..but I agree. DS has some good school like ps 41, 234? I think is the number down on tribeca, PS 3, ect. I grew up down here on Ave C and now send my kids to private school since the D1 schools are just sad [ Reply | More

UGH! Talk about whining! You make me sick. No one told you to move to a god forsaken nabe in terms of schools when you had a dc. who would do that? people who want to live like beatniks in the east village, I guess. Well, guess what? You have a child now. Time to upgrade to a more family oriented nabe. Oh the horror! You will have to live among the boring MC parents, rather than in a cool, hip out of the way nabe.
