Some parents have not responded to my notes about the contribution to the class party/teachers gifts. I guess I have to call and see what they are going to do. I hate doing that, I feel so uncomfortable. What to say? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I think you need an attitude tweaking. Don't call other parents names, don't assume you know what is going on in their life financial or otherwise. Volunteering at your dc's school is great. But conduct yourself in a kind, graceful manner. If you can't do that, then maybe don't take on the task, kwim? [ Reply | More
