is it safe to give a toddler a bottle in his carseat while I'm driving on local streets? my nanny said he could choke but I don't see how... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I wouldn't because my DB has managed to gag/vomit by shoving the bottle waaaaay in when upset. I'd also worry about the bottle getting tossed overboard from the car seat and making a mess, but that's me. [ Reply | More ]

well, you cant actually choke on liquid anytime. its solid things you choke on. liquid could go down the wrong way, but you cant actually choke. that being said, I still wouldnt do this unless it was a real emergency [ Reply | More ]

This is a new one. Toddlers are totally able to handle a bottle on their own whether in the crib, highchair or whatever, no different in a carseat. I assume he is front facing now so you can see him in your rear view mirror? [ Reply | More ]
