pls help, totally late/behind for planning my son's 4th bday party, live near union square...pls help, I dont' want to go to one of those kid gym places, feel like that is done all the time...pls, pls help [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

we rented a movie theatre (one screen) off-hours and showed a kids' movie and they ate candy and popcorn and it was rain-proof and cool and not too expensive at all... In fact, each kid got a popcorn and drink for free. We are not in NYC, but maybe it could work for you ? [ Reply | More

If your only reason for not doing a gym party is that it's done all the time, I wouldn't worry about it and go ahead. Kids watch the same three videos over and over and over again. [ Reply | More

At age 4, they can be in the "big" gym at Chelsea Piers which is whole new experience(or you could do a soccer party there as well). Or do an iceskating party and have extra help there to give lessons. [ Reply | More
