Has this happened to anyone else? I think I had a bad reaction to the birth control pill. Had my son in July of 2007 and have not had a period since. Started the birth control pill on Saturday and literally went nuts. Huge mood swings, dizzy spells every half hour or so, screaming at kids (I'm not even a yeller by nature and I was screaming and swearing at them). Started having thoughts of hurting myself and my kids. Spoke to doctor on Tuesday night and he told me to stop taking the pill. I feel so much better today AND got my period. Was this a reaction to the pill or the worst PMS ever? I've taken the pill before, just not this brand. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

may have been. I was on the pill for 5 yrs and went off for 5 yrs. When I tried to go back on, I gained so much water weight in 2 days of starting the pill. I was swollen. Hands, feet, ect. I literally gained 12lbs in 2 days. I said HELL NO and never went back on again [ Reply | More
