WOHMS how many nannies have you had? we are about to lose our 3rd...first one left to pursue a nursing career. second one was only with us for 3 months because she kept calling out sick and we finally had to let her go and now #3 is saying she doesn't want to work the hours. we are going to have a #2 and will need her from 8-6 and she doesn't want to work that long. UGH! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

check the schools message board (I don't mean on here but at local school). I keep seeing postings of families looking for new placement of their nanny that they have to let go since the kids are in school now. GL [ Reply | More ]

8-6 is pretty normal hours (from the working moms I know). Some even have nannies 8-7pm. If you state the hours up front, you should be fine [ Reply | More ]
