We have been trying to transition 22mo ds to a twin bed (he's been climbing out of crib) but every night he screams bloody murder if he isn't put in his crib. We thought we'd leave the crib in the room for a couple of weeks. He is so scared of the bed...anyone BTDT? Thoughts? Thx... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

22 mos is young for a bed, adn if he's terrified why push it? if you can fit both in the room, do it. [ Reply | More ]

Is the twin bed up high? Can you take the mattress off and put it on the floor? I agree that moving too fast to a big bed can be stressful. If he isn't ready, he isn't ready. but I typically think that climbing out is an indicator of readiness. Go figure. Can you borrow a toddler bed from anyone? [ Reply | More ]
