okay, possibly a dumb question, my ds' penis seems to be disapearing. he is 6 weeks old. is it shrinking in because he is getting so fat? this is my theory, but i want to make sure it isn't something wrong! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It could be that the fat pad in that area is getting bigger. It is possible that there might be another cause though so check with ped during next visit. [ Reply | More ]

my ds is circumcised and yet has had what looks like an "inny" for most of his 9 months. Multiple pediatricians (i changed docs a few months ago) said its just the fat pad and should resolve sooner or later, no worries... [ Reply | More ]

My son required surgery at 6mo to correct a curvature which I couldn't even see. This was spotted by a ped urologist not by the regular ped. He gained length following the surgery but I can't recall if his ever shrank prior to the surgery. [ Reply | More ]
