24 mo ds is in a serious hitting stage. Hits me, DH, kids at daycare. We do time-outs and talk to him about it, but can anyone share how long it took to pass / other strategies? I am getting discouraged [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I had one of those and while i don't remember how long it took, I do know that by the time he started Pre-K at three it was over and at the school interview at 2 + he smacked another kid who wanted to take a dinosaur he was playing with. Don't get too discouraged... [ Reply | More ]

Interesting, I've tried this, but his favorite toy is his transitional object, which feels wrong to take away and saying no cartoons today prob. doesn't register with him later in the day... [ Reply | More ]
