How many of you would be ok with having just one child? Part of me wants one more but I am getting older and suffer from depression/OCD and don't know if I can deal with PPD again (and don't wanna take meds while pg) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

id be ok w/it the way I feel right now. have 1 ds who is 8 mo. had pretty bad ppd too and dont want to go thru it again. but I never say never. I was an only though, I think that makes a difference [ Reply | More

i hesitated on having the 2nd (had bad ppd with my first) and ended up deciding to go forward with my 2nd. It has been surprisingly good. I didn't have ppd (saw therapist throughout pg and pp, no meds though did a lot of yoga). for me, I realized I wasn't ok with just one and I don't regret my decision. but it was tough to get to this point. gl with your decision [ Reply | More

have you talked to a therapist about whether you would definitely get PPD again? My understanding is that it is fairly random, but I don't know about your specific circumstances. [ Reply | More

i have one child... never want to be PG again hated it. I think people who have more kids than they 1 - can afford or 2 - can spend quality time with one on one are very selfish [ Reply | More
