I have to take progesterone suppositories while ttc. I am not preg. (neg.test) but I still have not started and I am due today. Do I need to stop the progesterone in order to get hormones to fall so, I will start? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

For most (but not all) people, you won't get your period while on progesterone. But if it was only a home test that was negative on the day you expected your period, you might want to double check with your doctor before going off the progesterone. [ Reply | More

confirm with a blood test. many embyros implant late. this would mean your hcg level might be too low to detect on a pee stick. if blood test is negative then stop the progesterone and wait for your period for your next cycle. [ Reply | More
