Any Cornell IVFers on? Want to switch RE and go there. How intensive is the testing before they let you do anything? Already have had a ton of tests done with current RE. Will they want to see that info or start from scratch. Male factor problems and recurrent miscarriage. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would have thought they would take your current tests. When I went there, all they wanted from me was a day 2 blood test to check FSH levels, which I had already had my OB run (and they accepted his results). [ Reply | More ]

^^^ but we already had one dc, and didn't think we had issues other than old age. [ Reply | More ]

actually, no. my IVF cycle got canceled b/c not enough eggs, did IUI unsuccessfully. next time they recommended just monitoring and doing IUI, but no egg that month, so we gave up and started thinking about adoption. Then, unexpectedly (we'd stopped "trying"), I found myself pg with #2 and she is a happy healthy 18 mo now. GL. [ Reply | More ]
