Went to a family gathering over the weekend and was really floored by the actions one married in family member took against my son. Wondering if its typical. She is the mother of a married in cousin. She got really nasty with my 2 yo son who was trying to take a toy from her grandson. I was coming over to intervene and I saw this lady grab my sons arm very rougly and rip the train out of my son's hand and yell at him "Give it to him!" When she realized I had arrived because I asked my son to come over to me so we could chat, she started petting my son on the head and said to me "Öh, no, its ok, they have problems with sharing at this age." you really should have told her something. Your son is too young to say something. When my dd was 2yr old, a mom in a 2's class we were taking did this to many kids. Their moms never told her anything but the minute she took my dd arm, I put my hand over hers and said to her...I wouldn't touch my dd that way if I was you. Bitch never did it again [ Reply | More ]

I told a cousin I would beat him senseless if he ever touched my kid again. Between you and me there must be a healthy median. [ Reply | More ]
