I just received an invitation for my cousin's engagement party with those inserts saying where they are registered. I gave them a gift when they got engaged at christmastime - do I have to give them another gift now? I had no idea there would be a party, and I am sure I will be invited to shower too. What is the etiquette on this? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I wouldn't. Have you received a thank you note for the first gift? They realize you've already given. [ Reply | More ]

I hate these engagement parties. They are just a ploy to make money. [ Reply | More ]

if you gave them an engagement gift then no. Unless you want to give them a little something that goes with your gift [ Reply | More ]

You do not have to give another gift, and they should not have included registry. [ Reply | More ]
