Please help. I have a 10 month old and I've been in my position a year. Finally a 4-day workweek option is opening up. In the past, people would work from home one day a week so they didn't need to work extra hrs per day. I fall short 22 minutes with a proposed schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. DD's daycare is a little over 10 minutes away from work and normally I stay with her for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes in the am. I can't drop her off before 7 a.m. How do I figure this out? Apparently, I have to take an hour for lunch. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

could you talk to someone in hr about your situation and have that 22 minutes as part of your lunch on either end of the day? [ Reply | More ]

I'm confused about the 22 mins. If they want 40 in 4 days then that is 10hrs a day (excluding the 1 hr for lunch) then you are 4hr short? Is this a legal or policy issue? How have other people done it? [ Reply | More ]

To answer your question, I'm supposed to work 37.5 hours per week. [ Reply | More ]
