Miscarriage Question - Can anyone who has had one pls describe how it came on? Was it sudden? I am first time pg and last night I had a horrible cramp that woke me from sleep. Just one though, and I fell back asleep. Then this morning I had a couple drops of blood in urine. No real cramps though. Please help!! Going to doc later today... Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I had several miscarriages and it was more like heavy period cramping. A sharp pain could possibly indicate ectopic or it could be nothing. I hope all is well [ Reply | More ]

Good luck w/appointment later. I think m/c can take many different forms. In my case, I had brown spotting, that after a few days turned into red flow. No cramps. Try not to drive yourself nuts with worrying until you really know what is what. [ Reply | More ]

I had an ectopic and it came on with pretty excruciating pain and the feeling that something was very wrong. Not so much like period cramping as gas-type pain. Best of luck to you. I hope everything is okay. [ Reply | More ]

I've had an ectopic (that did not rupture), and usually the pain for me would stick around for at least half an hour. It was pretty sharp though. [ Reply | More ]
