dh is mad that i never make dinner. we both work. I happen to get home sooner - but it's really only enough time to feed ds and get him to bed. we have a slow cooker, but dh clearly thinks it my responsibility to prepare it. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

slow cooker in the summer ? not super appetizing... Can you cook off a bunch of chicken breasts on one day and use it for quick stuff like fajitas, salads, etc ? or is he expecting you to whip up showstopper ? [ Reply | More

If it is only the three of you you can make a big vat of pasta sauce that will last the week, keep throwing new bits in (shrimp vs sausage) or diff kinds of noodles. Can also use w/browned hamburger to make stuffed peppers or sloppy joes. Does he expect something new every night or just once in a while. I go down to Chinatown & get lots of diff stirfrys that I keep in my freezer for instant meals )just throw in a bag of frozen vegs) [ Reply | More
