Need nutrition advice! A friend just told me that milk really doesn't have much nutritional value except calcium. Is that true? We're going to wean off formula soon and now I'm nervous about it. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

it has protein. and why are you nervous? if your child is switching to cow's milk, she is also eating other food. [ Reply | More ]

B/c formula has so many nutrients and she's only eating a few finger foods right now. [ Reply | More ]

i can't reply to you below. if you offer a lot of foods adn don't let child fill up on milk, she will be fine. look at waht she eats over a week, not over a day. and if it makes you feel better, give a multivitamin [ Reply | More ]

You could give her that toddler formula instead, or just add a multivitamin. Milk has a lot of protein too. [ Reply | More ]
