The public schools in Bayside are the best in all of New York City. That is not hype, just the truth. Bayside is pretty far. Closer to Manhattan, Forest Hills has three good schools: Best is PS 196, next is PS 101, and then comes PS 144, which is also a good school but doesn't get the really high scores of the first two. However, it's more supporting overall of families. PS 196 has great scores but pushes really hard. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
