My newborn (5wks) is difficult to put back to sleep after night feedings. last night I was up again between 2-3:30 trying to put him back to sleep. Is this normal? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my ds was like this, too. always very alert during night feeds, even if we made no noise, turned on no lights, etc. I just fed him until he fell asleep [ Reply | More ]

my ds was like this -- from week 5 to week 10 or so. slept nicely during the day and was up for hours in the middle of the night. ped said that is was completely normal. during those weeks, babies reset their body clocks, so to speak. [ Reply | More ]
