what do i say to the clique of snooty moms when i can't go to their DB's 1 bday party b/c it's too far a drive for my DB- 45 min. each way- they invite me only b/c we're in same JCC mommy class. they won't understand the 'it's too far a drive..' [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

ita. If you do call just experiment by not giving an excuse (but have one as back up if it makes you feel more confident). People are rarely rude enough to probe for details and if they do you can just say 'sorry we have plans'. I much prefer not lying to people especially with stuff like this. [ Reply | More ]
