decorator moms - moving ds into old guest room. ceiling is very low. room is painted a dark blue now - will a lighter color make the celings look higher? should I paint the ceiling something other than white? tia! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

A big contrast between wall and ceiling color can make ceiling look lower. A lighter shade on walls should do the trick. I tend to use a greyish white on ceilings so your eye isn't drawn up to them. [ Reply | More ]
