yes, it is a lot but it depends. i was very upset when i found out there were 24 kids in my DS's K class but then later found out that only 16 of them were in class full time and the remainder were only there for certain classes like gym and art and came with their own aides and teachers (not all, but some) [ Reply | More ]

How many teachers? In my 1st grader's class there are 27 kids, but two full time teachers and one student teacher, plus "specialists" like extra math and reading coaches. I don't really buy the argument that more kids is worse [ Reply | More ]
