A mom at pick up at our private ongoing school was there with her younger child. Another mom asked if he was coming to the school next year. She said "no, he is going to Anderson." So I said "oh did letters go out today?" and she said "no, but his scores were excellent." I was too speechless to ask if she was holding a spot at the private school just in case, but it certainly didn't seem like she was. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

she was probably hoping that you private school mommies would not realize the letters weren't out yet. btw, you sound like a major competitive beeyotch! I mean why would you feel entitled to ask her about whether she is holding a spot? just to humiliate her further? I mean, speechless? gimme a break. [ Reply | More ]

what is competitive about what I wrote? I have no horse in this race, and I wasn't the one who asked her if her younger child was joining her older one at the school, I was just standing with them waiting for the class to be dismissed. I never asked her anything. But yes, I was speechless that someone would assume their child is getting into A to the point of saying "he is going to A", not "we are hoping for A" or "whichever G&T he gets into." I mean, what is she going to tell her friend if he doesn't get in? Why would you say your child is going to a specific school when notifications aren't out yet? [ Reply | More ]

and why would the beeyotch mothers at your #1's school put you on the spot like that? and then come to UB to tell all? I admit the woman sounds insecure, but YOU seem to relish that fact. blech! [ Reply | More ]

But then why would she say "his scores were excellent" as opposed to "he goes to A"? [ Reply | More ]
