there are a ton of things to buy without opening that Pandora's box, IMHO. We travel overseas a bit and I pack a secret backpack that they drag / carry with books, coloring stuff, "learn to fraw" stuff, snacks, etc etc and everyone always comments that my dc (who are usually monsters) are so well behaved. dd loved her leapster. it kept her busy in the car. and she learned how to write letters and other stuff from it. she grew ou tof it pretty quickly, tho. doesn't really use it anymore and she got it abt six months ago. [ Reply | More ]
