how common are dairy allergies in kids?? My DD is 8wks, and we suspect a milk allergy. So i have been off dairy for almost 4wks, and she is a lot better. Plan on ingesting some dairy this weekend to confirm. I have just never heard of this before, so wondering how common it was. TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

very common. I was allergic to milk when I was younger. Neither of my parents was allergic, but my dad has hayfever. [ Reply | More ]

very common? Maybe 2 or 3% of all infants suffer from a milk allergy which most grow out of over time. [ Reply | More ]

I meant very common in a relative sense. Milk allergies are one of the most common allergies. [ Reply | More ]

op: do most kids grow out of it?? I don't really have any allergies (some mild seasonal ones now that I am older), so I am not very well verused on the subject. [ Reply | More ]
