Help me fix this: DH had to have a biopsy on his penis - all is good - cancer free. The problem is that he is freaked out by the small piece missing. I told him I couldn't really tell. This offended him and he made me look closer and admit that he is lopsided. So - and I wish I could remember exactly what I said - but in my attempt to say that looks don't matter (how often are you gazing at your DH's penis?) and I'm sure it will work just as well once he's healed, he interpreted my comments to mean that I always thought it was ugly and it couldn't look worse than it did before. I'm trying to word something that will make him feel better. Though, I think the only solution is to wait until he get the go-ahead for sex and SHOW him it's all ok. Advice? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Either don't say anything else or look him straight in the eye and tell him it was perfect before and it's still perfect now and that you love him and can't wait to show him how perfect you think his penis is. Sounds absurd but sometimes we all just need some serious encouragement and hand-holding. It's totally different, but I am 7 mo pg and feel like an unattractive whale and feel completely desexualized. When my DH tells me he thinks I'm beautiful and sexy it makes me feel better.
