Any Disney moms on? Considering using up the last day of our passes this summer. Would drive in, go to Magic Kingdom for one day and drive back to the beach house. If we only want to spend one night on the resort, which one should it be and would it be better to spend the night BEFORE our Magic Kingdom day or after? I'm thinking maybe before and then if we're too tired to drive back that night staying somewhere cheap on I4. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

maybe it depends on whether the MK has an extra magic hr (or hrs) in the morning or in the evening, if you want to take advantage of that [ Reply | More ]

good point. the week we'll be down there only has morning hours, i think. so spend the night before in the park and then maybe we'll skip the fireworks? i'm only trying to plan out every detail b/c this idea is going to be a hard sell on DH anyway so I have to be ready to answer all his questions. probably - depends on whether your family will likely get up and use those am hours or not. Also, would DCs be into the whole fireworks thing? You may already know this, but check mousesavers.com for possible discounts on resort stay. [ Reply | More ]

that's right - i forgot about that place. DH will be more interested in fireworks than the kids. plus, we have a 2 y.o. so i think we could easily get up early. [ Reply | More ]

Exactly why I asked - my 2.5 yo DD would go bonkers w/fireworks, so I would totally skip those. Have fun. [ Reply | More ]
