WWYD? 2.4yo dd talks about pee/poop all the time, really wants to wear underpants, etc. Yesterday she refused to either wear a diaper or sit on the potty. She peed a bit on the floor, we ran to the potty, she peed a bit more in the potty, got an M&M and LOTS of praise, and she put on some underpants. One hour later she peed a TON on the floor and willingly put on a diaper. WWYD? Schedule a weekend of potty-training? Hold off a couple of months? (I'm pg, so we'll have a new baby in the house as of August.) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would keep going with it, but follow her lead. Sounds like she wants to learn. My dd trained at that age. We had a false start where we tried underwear but she got scared off and went back to diapers for a couple weeks. There were lots of accidents the first couple of days but after that she started getting it and the accidents were minimal. [ Reply | More
