My 3yo is waking up 2 or 3 times a night screaming and crying. There is nothing wrong with her physically. She doesn't seem to be having nightmares, she doesn't really understand what dreams are. It seems like she goes through a light sleeping period and wakes up and then wants attention. I'm at my wit's end because I'm exhausted and she's exhausted. Anyone go through this? OP: But she talks when I come in. She says, "I'm awake" and "I want to get out". I thought night terrors (which she used to have), the child is basically asleep and can't have a normal conversation. [ Reply | More ]
