The parent coordinator at ps 9 mentioned that they will have their orientation on June 19th whether or not g&t families have their results by that date. General ed & lottery children parents will still be able to attend. I'm just hoping they don't have the welcome picnic on that day too. [ Reply | More

Sounds right to me. got call Sat night asking why we had not returned form. To me that meant they had not yet ranked all the 99s then the 98s. then they have to see what you put down. I would be surprised if they finsihed the "lottery" this week. Let alone type up the letters and mail them. Who knows if we were even the last call. Maybe they we still calling people Monday. I posted on Insideschools asking Helen to reach out to her OSEPO contacts to verify this. If true, it might indicate that they discovered a big problem after they had finished the placements, a problem they need to address before notifying parents of placements. Or, they're just REALLY far behind. They have had our rankings for 3 weeks now. [ Reply | More
