What kind of car would you buy as a family of five? We would still need the space for a booster seat and two toddler car seats. Do we have to go the minivan route or are there big enough sedans that allow three young children in the back seat? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Some of the crossovers have enough room. I know the Audi does. [ Reply | More ]

I hate 'needing' a car and favor the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. It's got great rear storage, is ridiculously fuel efficient, will handle your kids' seating requirements through many years(unless you have any more), isn't a hulking suv and isn't ugly. It does have the same issue as many hybrids- you can't cover large areas of backseat floorspace with stuff. [ Reply | More ]

Love love love my Subaru tribeca. It is just big enough (third row of seats if you want to use them) but not like a tank, has the backup camera, and is simple to drive. It's also pretty good for the environment. [ Reply | More ]
