I'll try again. Let's say you ordered something- a table- and it wasn't the right size. They guy didn't come right out and say "no returns", but he more or less said that he was special ordering the table and discouraged returns. If the receipt doesn't say "Final Sale", can I exchange part of the set (just the table and not the chairs)? I guess it's ultimately up to him, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this experience tIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

You are perfectly in your rights to send the table back for a bigger one [ Reply | More ]

Thanks- I just mis-measured the space. The guy was SO against it- there was no formal return policy. [ Reply | More ]

Your fault, you mismeasured - why is it his problem? [ Reply | More ]

He should have had a formal returns policy. That said, you are sticking him with a piece he will have much trouble reselling. [ Reply | More ]

I agree. I think that I would balance the two. If you really cannot live with it how it is, than go ahead and exchange. [ Reply | More ]
