Anderson rejected my first child back in the days when there was a round two, so even though I have listed it first for my second choice I won't be heartbroken not to get it (how is that for a rationalization?) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

ps9 parent and sadly no inside information. Just wishful thinking. I think it is better for the program to have two classes and better for the school in terms of fund raising. But historically it was always one class. the current 4th grade is the first grade to have more than one G&T. [ Reply | More

ps9 has 1 class this year because the 5th grade graduated one class. next year will likely be 2 classes as 2 classes will graduate. this will be the case until next year's K class graduates in 6 years. [ Reply | More

this isn't entirely correct. yes, the graduating 5th grade has only one G&T but so the graduating 5th grade the year before and the year before that. The current 4th grade is the first grade in a while to have 2 G&Ts and only one gen ed. they increased to 4 classes this year and last year and the school cannot sustain 4 classes per grade. that is why they are going back to one G&T.
