Not going to happen. Bonuses never evaporate all together. They can be hit, but comp follows an S-curve. There is an absolute floor. [ Reply | More

Can you be more specific? IB is still pretty broad. My group has been doing very well, so I expect to be flat to up from last year. Other groups are doing very poorly and will probably be down. [ Reply | More

It depends, if the bonus was decent last year then I think your bonus will suck this year. That's because the firms that paid well last year realize that they didn't have to to retain talent. That post about having an absolute floor is nonsense. There can be a zero bonus. It depends what department you're in and what the profitability is in that department [ Reply | More
