Repost: Trying to figure out invite for DD's gym bday party. 1:30pm so I'm only serving cake (always served pizza at past parties and they just get tossed). What's a nice way to state that on the invite so people don't show up hungry? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

pizza gets tossed? it's always been scarfed down by parents and kids at all partied I've ever attended. I suppose you could say "cake and light refreshments will be served" [ Reply | More ]

It's a strange time. The gym portion ends at 2:30 and at that time nobody wants to eat. Not hungry after lunch, too early for dinner. [ Reply | More ]
