Has anyone ever gone to a Pediatric Endocrinologist re early puberty? My 6 y/o has recently grown arm pit hair which I believe is not supposed to happen for a while. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Yes, my 6 y/o has the same problem. Diagnosed with advanced bone age, and watching for other symptoms of early puberty. He/she should have kidney scan to see if adrenal gland is enlarged or has tumor, just as a precaution... there's often no obvious reason why this happens. [ Reply | More ]

I've heard this could be due to hormones in meat and dairy, but I'd do my own research (and buy organic, etc.) [ Reply | More ]
