Has anyone ever used one of those bags with wheels for a carseat to lug with you in the airport? If so, do you recommend it and can you give me a name? I'm assuming I can find one at BuyBuyBaby? TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

18 months. We are flying to Europe and need to buy a car seat and are sooo clueless. Thinking of the Graco Comfort Sport on the theory that it's light, and I gather it's not complicated to install using a car's seat belts (and hopefully OK on a plane too). [ Reply | More ]

I'd skip the car seat on the plane and rent one at your destination if at all possible. [ Reply | More ]

We have actually bought him a seat and think he'll sleep way better in one than in the seat itself. We did this last year with great success, although he was only 8 mo at the time! [ Reply | More ]

It also has straps should you prefer to wear it as a back pack. [ Reply | More ]

We borrowed one from a friend and the good thing about it is there is lots of room to put other carry on stuff. [ Reply | More ]

DH likes the one with backpack straps since our hands are usually full with other roller bags, stroller, etc. He got it at local UES baby/kids store. [ Reply | More ]

if you're using car seat on the plane, you can also just buy the backpack straps rather than a whole bag (we check the seat). That way you can just put the seat on your back without the whole in and out of bag process. [ Reply | More ]
