re-post: I pulled a tick off of my 16mo ds yesterday. I estimate he got it around 7am and I removed it at 4pm. He should be ok, yes? The bite is looking better today. tia. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

what kind of tick? I might call the ped and see if she recs a prophylactic dose of antibiotics if it was a deer tick and you are in a lyme-y area. [ Reply | More ]

Take the tick to ped and ask that tick be sent to lab. I would ask ped for some antibiotics - this from someone why REALLY bad case of Lyme disease. [ Reply | More ]
